ONC BOCES is accepting applications for a Crisis Intervention Specialist to begin at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
Crisis intervention specialists are trained to manage and respond to immediate crises or emergencies, whether they are related to behavioral issues, mental health concerns, or external events impacting students. They focus on de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution, and providing immediate support during critical situations. Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and behavioral specialists to create crisis management plans tailored to students' unique needs. They offer support during behavioral emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff.
This is a full-time, 10-month position located at NCOC in Grand Gorge.
Salary: $35,721.00
