Job Description

ONC BOCES is accepting applications for a Staff Development Specialist

We seek an outstanding candidate to promote and guide thoughtful educator practice focused on student learning. Strong applicants will have a minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience and a desire to design, facilitate, and lead regional educators' professional learning. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in and experience working with curriculum, instruction and data analysis. Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate with others are essential.

Starting Base Salary: $61,112
Plus $525 per year of experience
Plus $45 per graduate credit
Plus $1,100 per master’s degree

NYS retirement, EAP, continuing education assistance, and exceptional insurance, including retiree health insurance, are available.

Job Qualifications

NYS Teacher Certification in any content or grade level serving K-12; a Master's Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience are required. 7-12 Social Studies certifications are preferred.
